What we collect
Waitlist: We collect the information you provide when signing up — name (optional), email address or phone number, and basic attribution metadata (e.g. how you heard about us). This is used solely to send launch notifications through your chosen channel.
In-app: The game app does not require an account. On first launch, Firebase assigns your device an anonymous identifier automatically. We store only in-session data tied to that identifier: your chosen display name, game scores, connection status, and avatar. We do not collect your real name, email, phone number, or location through the app.
Anonymous accounts and data loss
Your anonymous identifier is stored only on your device. If you uninstall and reinstall the app, a new identifier is created and any data associated with the previous one — including past scores and party history — cannot be recovered. There is currently no account system to preserve data across reinstalls.
Recap sharing
After a game session, the app may allow you to share a recap (e.g. a screenshot or summary of results). Sharing is always your choice and initiated by you. Shared recaps may include display names and scores of all participants in that session. Do not share recaps if any participant objects.
Data retention
Waitlist data is retained until you request removal or the waitlist programme ends. In-app party session data is retained for up to 90 days after the session ends, after which it is automatically deleted. Anonymous account records are deleted 90 days after last activity. Firebase (Google) may retain operational logs for a shorter period per their own policies.
How to delete your data
Waitlist: Contact us using the support channel published at launch and we will remove your entry within 30 days.
In-app: Uninstalling the app removes your anonymous identifier from your device. To request deletion of any server-side session data, contact us with your anonymous UID (accessible in app settings) and we will process the request within 30 days.
Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)
If you are located in the European Economic Area, UK, or California, you have the following rights regarding personal data we hold about you:
- Access: request a copy of the data we hold about you.
- Rectification: ask us to correct inaccurate data.
- Erasure: ask us to delete your data (see above).
- Restriction: ask us to limit how we use your data while a dispute is resolved.
- Portability: receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Opt-out of sale (CCPA): we do not sell personal data.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us through the support channel published at launch. We will respond within 30 days.
Third-party processors
We use Firebase (Google) for anonymous authentication, real-time game state, and database storage. See Google's Privacy Policy for details. We do not share your data with any other third parties.
